Designed for business students who are not majoring in accounting but would like to become versed in “the language of business,” the Certificate in Accounting provides a broad base of accounting knowledge. Through the four required courses, students will become familiar with financial reporting for investors and creditors, budgeting and performance evaluation, and federal income taxation.
Requirements:
- Completion of college lower-division requirements.
- Completion of ACCT 2300 and ACCT 2301 with a B or better.
- All prerequisites must be met prior to taking a course.
- All courses must be taken in residence.
Required Courses (6 hrs): ACCT 3304 , ACCT 3305 .
Choose two of the following (6 hrs): ACCT 3307 , ACCT 3308 , ACCT 4300 .
