About the Nutritional Sciences Doctoral Program
The Doctor of Philosophy in Nutritional Sciences prepares students for faculty and post-doctorate positions as well as careers with various corporations. The Nutritional Sciences doctorate degree has 3 tracks: 1) Community Nutrition; 2) Nutritional Biochemistry and Physiology; and 3) Clinical Nutrition. The degree requires a minimum of 72 hours (including a minimum of 12 dissertation hours and at least 12 hours in the specialized track area).
